If You Build It, They Will Come…. The Los Angeles Downtown Arts District Dog Park

September 11, 2010

Today, Bogart and I visited the new dog park in our neighborhood! We’ve been waiting for a few months for it to open, and we’re so  happy it’s here! Where is it exactly?  1004 E. 4th Street, 90013 (corner of 4th and Molino) just before the 4th street bridge.

We missed the opening ceremony, but there will still a lot of dogs when we got there. Here’s a few snapshots of Bogart’s adventure:

(bath time!)

Overall, Bogart and I love the new dog park.  It’s small-but perfect for our neighborhood. I want to thank everyone who made this park possible! I knew it took a lot of work to get this land transformed into a place for our pets. There’s no water stations yet–but I think they are working on this. Also, (I know this is a lot to ask), but some grass would be awesome. Bogart got so dirty. I guess that’s what happens when you have a white dog.  We’ll definitely be back to meet our new friends.
